Specialities

Thank you for your interest ROSC. I am trained to work with a wide variety of challenges and disorders. In addition to providing services for individuals who want highly customized and individualized services. I cater to three specific groups.

Serious Mental Health Challenges

I specialize in working with individuals who have been given a diagnosis of a serious mental health condition (e.g. schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder) or individuals who may have experiences that are difficult to understand and may not be shared by others in the community. I aim to work collaboratively, putting the relationship first, and create a treatment plan that builds hope and purpose, increases connection in the community, and helps the client to take steps toward life goals and values.

Medical Providers and First Responders

Healthcare providers (e.g. physicians, nurses, first responders) face challenges, trauma, and stress in the workplace that can be difficult to explain and talk about. Talking with a person who has experienced these situations first hand can make the journey easier. Your career is important to you and your family. Managing these challenges successfully enables you to get back to your passion, doing the work you love, and restoring a sense of purpose to your life. As a nurse, EMT, and spouse of a physician, I know first hand the challenges in becoming (e.g. medical school, board exams) and working as a clinician and first responders (e.g. burnout, stress, work-life balance).

Complex Medical Challenges

Complex medical challenges can be accompanied by significant mental health challenges. Speaking with a therapist who has an understanding of medical conditions is crucial to developing workable solutions that balance medical needs and optimize wellness, hope, and purpose. My background in critical care and psychiatric nursing informs his work as a psychotherapist when working with clients experiencing both medical and mental health challenges.
